Welcome to Birchams Grange residential care home for the elderly.
Birchams Grange, built in the 1920’s, is a substantial red brick house with stucco elevations set in large private grounds in the pretty village of Eastnor, home to Eastnor Castle.
The care home is located two miles East of the town of Ledbury with good road access being only seven miles from the M50 motorway (junction 2) and eight miles South of Malvern.
Ledbury offers a wide range of shopping and recreational facilities together with a mainline train station providing direct trains to and from London and other destinations.
Eastnor village benefits from a church together with the castle which is open to visitors.
Birchams Grange provides twenty nine beautifully presented en-suite bedrooms together with sitting room, dining room, conservatory, and a quiet room. The garden & patios provide ease of access to all residents, enabling safe outside seating areas.
ACCOMMODATION
Birchams Grange care home is registered for twenty nine bedrooms, each bedroom contains the following;
BATHROOM
One with a specialist Parker bath and two wet rooms.
ADDITIONAL FACILITIES
Include a hair and beauty salon and passenger lift to the first floor.
SITTING AND DINING AREAS
Our sitting and dining areas are all elegantly decorated with traditional and modern accents throughout and there are wonderful countryside views to be enjoyed.
CATERING AND BEVERAGES
Locally sourced menus designed for the seasons.
PERSON CENTRED CARE
Residential care is for those who are now ready for the support of 24 hour care and is focused on maintaining individual and fulfilling lives with discreet and sensitive care whilst providing encouragement and support to enable them to retain their individuality, their choices, personal preferences and independence.
We encourage friendships within the home and the wider community; this enables residents to continue hobbies and past times that they are enjoying and to develop new hobbies and opportunities within our care setting.
PERSON CENTRED DEMENTIA CARE
Birchams Grange is a dementia friendly environment with balanced coloured schemes. Every permanent resident has the option of personalising their room with their own furniture, pictures, photographs and other belongings.
Each resident has a person centred care plan that details their health needs alongside their spiritual, occupational, physical, and day to day living needs.
This ensures each of our residents are fully supported and able to enjoy meaningful experiences and activities that reflect their individual interests.
LEISURE AND WELL-BEING
Activity is about meaningful, engaging everyday living, 24/7, literally speaking, ‘every minute of every day’. Our activity provision is ‘person centred’ (tailored to each individual) and promotes well-being and self-esteem. It gives personal choices for our residents in all aspects of their care and it involves every member of staff in one way or another.
We employ a full time wellbeing co-ordinator who offers a wide range of daily activities within the Home, ensuring all residents are given every opportunity to enjoy a rewarding and fulfilled life.
We encourage residents to continue with any hobbies and interests they may have and if there is something not already in place, we will endeavour to get it.

Our fee range is from £1495 to £1680 per week, this excludes chiropody, hairdressing, personal toiletries, newspapers and magazines.
Please note all fees are reviewed annually.
