Residential care is for those who are now ready for the support of 24 hour care! Residential care is focused on maintaining individual life styles and fulfilling lives with discreet and sensitive care whilst providing encouragement and support that retains their individuality, their choices, personal preferences and independence.

We encourage friendships within the home and the wider community. This enables residents to continue hobbies and past times that they are enjoying and to develop new hobbies and opportunities within our care setting.

Hill Ash House is a dementia friendly environment with balanced coloured schemes, wayfinding and points of interest to bring a safe space that is also homely and easy to understand.

This helps our residents who are living with dementia maintain an independence life style that is as stress free as possible.

Every permanent resident has the option of personalising their room with their own furniture, pictures, photographs and other belongings. Each resident has a care plan that details their health needs alongside their spiritual, occupational, physical, and day to day living needs.

This ensures each of our residents are fully supported and able to enjoy meaningful experiences and activities that reflect their individual interests.

Activity is about meaningful, engaging everyday living, 24/7, literally speaking, ‘every minute of every day’. Our activity provision is ‘person centred’ (tailored to each individual) and promotes well-being and self-esteem. It gives personal choices for our residents in all aspects of their care and it involves every member of staff in one way or another.

We employ a full time and part-time wellbeing co-ordinator that offers a wide range of daily activities within the Home, ensuring all residents are given every opportunity to enjoy a rewarding and fulfilled life.

We encourage residents to continue with any hobbies and interests they may have and if there is something not already in place, we will endeavour to get it.

This tablet with dedicated apps for residents and a special adapted app for dementia enables our residents to enjoy a vast range of activities. ‘Alexa’ this gives spontaneous music and up to date news channels in all areas of the home.
